An annual report by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) reveals that China has overtaken Germany in the use of industrial robots, highlighting a challenge for Europe's largest economy.

Germany, once dominant, now has a robot density of 429 per 10,000 employees vs. 470 robots per 10,000 workers for China.
