Generous tip supports Stumble Inn staff

In June 2021, customer left a $16,000 tip on a $37.93 bill at the Stumble Inn in Londonderry, New Hampshire.

The anonymous diner sat alone at the outdoor bar, enjoying chili dogs, drinks, and pickle chips before leaving the massive tip.

The staff initially didn’t notice the amount, until the customer repeatedly told them, “Don’t spend it all in one place.”

The restaurant, which struggled during the pandemic, is now thriving, and the tip will be shared among the staff.

Owner Mike Zarella personally thanked the customer, who insisted the hardworking staff deserved it.
